The salary range for this position varies between 28k-35k gross annually, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience demonstrated during the interview process.

Standard Requirements:
- Perform advanced analytics to extract value from data;
- Work from descriptive analytics to predictive analytics;
- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data;
- Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms;
- Present information using data visualization techniques;
- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges;
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist;
- 2+ years’ experience in data science executing research projects in a business setting;
- 2+ years’ experience in data scripting language (e.g SQL, Phyton);
- Understanding of machine-learning and operations research;
- Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development;
- Knowledge of SQL and Python.
Skills that will be an asset:
- Degree in Information Technology or related field of study. Graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred;
- Azure and/or AWS Certifications;
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop);
- Good teamwork ability;
- Customer and delivery focus;
- Good skills of Leadership and Communication;
- Experience with Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies;
- Ability to analyze, organize and plan;
- High sense of proactivity, responsibility and autonomy;
- Language Requirements: Fluent in Portuguese and English – mandatory.
