Candidate Profile:
  • Relevant academic background for the role and an intermediate profile with professional experience in the area of Desktop Management.
  • 3 to 4 years of proven experience in on-site and remote first- and second-line support and IT hardware/software assistance for users.
  • Knowledge of the client-server architecture in Microsoft Windows environments.
  • Proficiency in implementing/installing and maintaining components (hardware and system software) in the field of desktop management.
  • Solid knowledge of various Microsoft operating systems, preferably Windows 10 and 11.
  • Handling of operating system components, specifically: services, processes, and files.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Exchange architecture and Microsoft Outlook client, including their functioning and best practices for using the Microsoft Outlook client.
  • User-level knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • User-level knowledge of smartphone devices (iOS, Android) and their ActiveSync synchronization.
  • User-level knowledge of tools supporting ITSM (IT Service Management) best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks.
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
